POLICIES

At Polished Pearl, we strive to provide exceptional beauty services in a relaxing and professional environment. To ensure the best experience for all our clients, please review our policies below.

Appointment & Booking Policy 

  • All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system. We do not accept appointments over the phone.

  • A valid credit/debit card is required to secure your appointment. 

  • ​Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to relax and prepare for your service. 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy 

We understand that life happens! However, to respect our time and other clients: 

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. 

  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours) will result in a 50% service charge. 

  • No-shows will be charged 50% of the service cost and may require prepayment for future appointments. 

Late Arrival Policy 

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to adjust or reschedule your service. 

  • If you arrive 15 minutes late or more, your appointment will be canceled, and the cancellation policy will apply.

Refund & Satisfaction Policy 

  • We do not offer refunds on services. However, if you are unsatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours so we can make adjustments. 

  • Retail product purchases are final sale, except for defective items, which may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase. 

Health & Safety Policy 

  • For the safety of our clients and staff, we maintain a clean and sanitized environment, following strict hygiene protocols. 

  • Please inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or medical concerns before your service. 

  • If you are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. 

Waxing & Skincare Guidelines

  • Please avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and chemical peels at least 48 hours before and after your facial or waxing service. 

  • Clients must disclose any use of retinol, Accutane, or other medications that may affect skin sensitivity. 

  • We do not perform waxing services on clients using Accutane or certain antibiotics due to skin sensitivity risks. 

Nail Care Policy 

  • If you experience chipping or lifting of gel/acrylic within 3 days, we offer a complimentary fix. 

  • We do not remove or work on damaged or infected nails for health and safety reasons. 

Children & Guest Policy

  • To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, we kindly ask that only those receiving services be present in the treatment area. 

  • For safety reasons, children under 12 are not permitted in the salon. 

Payment & Gratuity 

  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. 

  • Gratuity is greatly appreciated but not required. 

Right to Refuse Service

Polished Pearl reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who: 

  • Is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 

  • Displays inappropriate or disrespectful behavior. 

  • Has a condition that may affect the safety or effectiveness of the service.
